Elizabeth Margaret Wilk, 85, of Mexico and Central Square, NY passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Florence, NY; the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Horbaez Wojtus.

She worked in the Fraud Department for Oswego County Department of Social Services. She was a Communicant of St. Anne Mother of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Mexico and belonged to the Mexico Senior Stars.

Elizabeth was a gifted artist; her oil paintings of landscapes won many awards at area art shows. She spent many enjoyable hours at the Salmon River Fine Arts Center in Pulaski. She also was a gourmet cook long before it was fashionable to be one.

Elizabeth was pre-deceased by her husband, John. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy (Michael) Perry, Carolyn (Wayne) Shelby and Katherine (Paul) Arduini; two grandchildren, Julia (Michael) Cumming and Jennie (Jesse) Keltz; and two great-grandchildren, Connor Cumming and Stuart Cumming. She is also survived by her sister, Irene Lape, of Central Square.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. Funeral Services and interment will be private.
