Doug was in the same year class as my oldest brother. He was a true outdoorsman, hunter and trapper. I will miss him at the field days where we always reminisced . My father always enjoyed talking to him when ever he came into the bakery . My sympathies to his brothers and all his family. From

I was so sorry to learn of my oldest friend passing away recently while here in Florida, Doug & I go way back to 1950 when I moved to Pulaski Hill in Mexico & we were neighbors who quickly became lifelong friends. There`s too many memories to list them all but Doug taught me how to trap, fish, hunt, water ski, and drive a stick shift. My thoughts & prayers go out to Pete & Jeff at this most difficult time. RIP Doug my old friend. From
