Diane A. Wallace, 73, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of the late Elgin and LaDonna Purdy.

She moved to the Mexico area with her husband in 1979 and taught preschool at Faith Heritage in Fulton. She also taught piano to many. Her love of the piano, was shared regularly at her church Sunday services, as well as weddings and other special occasions in the community. She loved Jesus and was involved in the church as much as she could. She also loved her family and was very proud of her children and grandchildren. There were many afternoons she would do crafts and other fun projects with them.

Diane is survived by her son, Justin (Christina) Wallace of Palermo and their children, Curtis, Devin, MaryJo and Riley; and her daughter, Joy (Ken) Daniels of New Haven, and their children Andre, Shealyn, Ayden and Ryder. She also is survived by her brothers Darryl (Vicki) Purdy of SC and David (Darla) Purdy of KS and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours, but there will be a service on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Fulton First Church of the Nazarene, 910 Utica Street, Fulton, NY 13069. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
