Dean Reichard, a lifetime resident of Hastings, NY died in his home on Saturday, November 9, 2019 surrounded by his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Donna (Cowen) Reichard. He was born in Cicero NY to the late Edna (Harrington) and Frederick Reichard Sr.

He is survived by his two Daughters, Kathleen (Raymond) Davis and Tracey (Adam) Proper.
His five grandchildren include: Brittany Williams, Ally Reichard, TriciaRae (Rich) Stancato, Leigh (Jody) Danca, Oscar Proper and Great Grandson, Gavin Danca.

His Surviving Siblings are Frederick Reichard Jr., Junice Clark and Robert Reichard.

Dean was an American Patriot and loved his country. He served in the Navy from 1961 to 1966 aboard the
USS F.D. Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier.

Dean enjoyed shooting trap for many years with the Central Square Forest, Fish and Game Club where his skill in shooting earned him the nickname "Dead Eye".
He was also a member of the Oswego County Emergency Communicators / RACES as an Amateur Radio Operator, WD2AFI.
In his spare time he loved to collect and play Guitars of all shapes and sizes and grow vegetables of every kind in his many gardens.

He leaves behind a legacy of Love that his friends and family will cherish for years to come.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main Street, Parish, NY. Interment will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
