Damon Lafayette Whaley
October 13,1931 – August 15,2023

Damon was born in Lycoming NY to Leo and Isabel (Woolson) Whaley. He passed after a short illness, and was the last surviving sibling.

After graduating from high school Damon joined the Navy. After receiving an honorable discharge he returned to upstate NY and worked at Oswego Castings for 26 years followed by The Town of New Haven.

After retirement Damon and his wife Harriet spent their winters in Florida enjoying the warmth, sunshine, and the company of the many friends they made there. Damon enjoyed hobbies such as hunting, fishing, and painting. He loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas to visit the classic car museum.

Damon is survived by his children Brenda Whaley-Gorenberg and Damon Whaley, as well as many nieces and nephews.
