Carol F. Petersen, 69, of Camano Island, Washington; passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at her home. She was born in Oswego, NY; daughter of the late William and Doris Zender Forbes. She was a 1970 Graduate of APW and went on to graduate from SUNY Oswego.

She taught K-4 in Dolgeville, NY and was the Vice President of Valley View Aviation in Johnstown, NY and Hamilton, NY for 18 years.

Carol is survived by her husband, Lewis Petersen; two sons, Christopher (Joan) Petersen and Ryan (Danielle) Petersen; and her grandchildren, Franczska Amelia Petersen, Julia Petersen and Teagan Petersen.

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main Street, Parish, NY. Interment will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
