Carl T. Wood Sr, 90 passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his home in Murrells Inlet, SC.

Carl was a graduate of Mexico High School and served in the US Coast Guard for 3 years. In 1953 he married Jean Horning until her passing in November 2020.

Carl retired from Greyhound Bus Lines and enjoyed traveling, watching the NY Yankees & SU basketball.

Carl leaves behind his daughters, Marilyn Wood of Murrells Inlet, SC, Joan (Chuck) Benjamin of Murrells Inlet, SC and Tammy (Mark) Baum of Louisville, KY and a son, Carl (Kathy) Wood of Dublin, Ga. ; 6 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Helen Crosset of Oswego, NY.

The family would like to thank Tidelands Hospice especially Laura and Danielle for their care.

Interment will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY. Local arrangements are in the care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Parish, NY
