Arthur G. Waldron, 94, of Mexico, New York, passed away on July 25, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Phoenix, New York to George and Daisy (Stevens) Waldron on March 22, 1927. He retired from Container Corporation of America, Inc. and served as a Corporal in the US Army during WWII. He enjoyed woodworking, maintaining his home and spending time with family.

Arthur is survived by his daughter, Carol (Michael) Lee of Mexico; his step-daughter, Nancy Smiedy of Palermo; his grandchildren, Scott Lee of Richmond, California, Aaron (Teresa) Lee of Oswego, Gina (Matthew) Prentice of Rochester, Babette Puzey of Baldwinsville; his great-grandchildren, Paige Prentice, George Prentice, Ryan (Audra) Clayton, Kala Venezia and his great-great grandson Maxwell Clayton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marion (Hollenbeck) Waldron, his grandson, Michael Smiedy, as well as his brothers, sisters and in-laws.

A graveside funeral service will be held at the Palermo Center Cemetery on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 11:00 am with Reverend Tammie Nipper of the Palermo United Methodist Church officiating. Harter Funeral Home, Mexico, New York is handling funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oswego County Hospice, 70 Bunner Street, Oswego, NY 13126.
